This policy explains what information BooqEra collects through our website and iPhone app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account details: your email address and an account ID when you create a BooqEra account.
• Vendor business details: business name, category, city, packages, prices and profile text that vendors add.
• Booking requests: the name, event dates, venue and message a customer sends to a vendor.
• Vendor records: enquiries, client contact details, notes and payment records a vendor chooses to back up to the cloud.
• Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe. BooqEra does not see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

• To run your account and show vendor pages and packages.
• To send booking requests between customers and vendors and process payments.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information, show third-party advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.

Who we share it with

• The other side of your booking: customers' request details are shared with the vendor they contact.
• Service providers: Supabase (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments) and Vercel (website hosting) process data on our behalf.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Your choices

• You can delete your account at any time in the iPhone app under Account & Backup → Delete account. This removes your account, cloud backup, published packages and booking requests.
• Vendor records that are not backed up stay only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.
• Stripe keeps payment records as required by financial regulations.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Database rules restrict each account to its own private records.

Children

BooqEra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
